Minus 2

I love the fact that my daughter is always happy to pose. Sometimes you just have to drop the grocery bags and run outside in the snow to take photos. Usually the spontaneous sessions are the most fun and fruitful.

Highland Hounds

It’s been a while since I’ve written because I was so busy up until the holidays! I have many new shots from my trip home to Scotland and I’ll try to get several shots up in the coming week. For now, here are a few shots of my favourite Scottish canine friends. Fluke and Clyde (French Briards) and Pluto (Boxer Puppy). I miss them already.

Bridal Shower

I had the privilege of photographing Jennifer’s Bridal Shower. I loved the purple hues and glitter! I made sure to take shots of all of the little details that I plan to use to create scrapbook pages for her Wedding Album.

Dog Days

“I would rather see the portrait of a dog that I know, than all the allegorical paintings they can show me in the world.” – Samuel Johnson

I have always photographed my dogs but it had been a while so I snatched 10 minutes outside with them camera in one hand and frisbee in the other. That takes skill!  Animals can be tricky to photograph but training goes a long way to a good shot. Also a photographer that can move fast and bend into odd positions. Fortunately my dogs respond well to me and are very used to being in front of the camera.
